What's Happening at CasaBlanca : ๐น As of June 3rd, 2026!
Welcome back to Casablanca Hamstery! ๐น
This update is a little peek into what has been happening behind the scenes with our Roborovski hamsters. Every generation teaches us something new, and weโre excited to keep sharing the journey as we work toward healthier, calmer, and more confident Robos.
Current Hamstery News
These last few months at CasaBlanca have been quiet. But not stagnate. Progress has been made! We've been focusing on:
breeding the next generation
tracking temperament and confidence levels
preparing possible homes
establishing handling routines
updating enclosures and care routines
A lot of what we do is quiet, patient work. From watching personalities develop, noticing which babies are more curious, and learning how each hamster responds to people, sounds, and daily care. It all takes time.
Litter Updates
We've got a new litter! It's the CasaBlanca Wine ๐ทLitter ! :3
About this litter:
born on May 29th, 2026!
names have not been established yet, but in progress! :3
We've got 5 so far, but I am keeping an eye out on the runt, who may not be growing as fast as his siblings...
All pups were born agouti pied!
The babies are starting to show their little personalities, but they're still too young to be evaluated for tameness. More on that in the next coming weeks...
Behind the Scenes
Something funny happened this week. Peppa almost escaped. Peppa is not one of my Roborovski hamsters, she's just my big fat hybrid dwarf who loves exploring. Well, she loves exploring so much, that she almost got out by climbing to the very top of her hideout in her cage, standing on her tip toes and chewing at the air holes at the top!
